Indianapolis, IN - Cullman, Alabama’s Kevin Thomas, Jr. certainly was one who snuck through the field during the feature, emerging with a third-place finish after starting 14th, earning himself and his team the KSE Racing Products “Hard Charger” Award in his 4J Motorsports/Franklin Equipment - CEP Concrete/DRC/Chevy. “The cautions and reds really helped us,” Thomas agreed. “I got to tune on the shocks a little bit and the top just got to be too far around. I’m not really known for just creeping around the tires, but these guys gave me a great car that allowed me to be patient and just click laps off at the end. It wasn’t spectacular by any means, but we got a podium finish from 14th, so it was a good run for all of us. We’ve kind of gotten on a roll here, so hopefully, we can keep it going.”

As previously announced, Chase Briscoe and Kevin Thomas Jr. will test the Cunningham Dodges on the first day of the test, Friday, before flying back to Tulsa, OK, to complete their Chili Bowl experience on Saturday. Tulas, OK - With 19 laps in the books, Felker would lead the field back to green flag racing, but this time Kevin Thomas, Jr. and Christopher Bell would make their move. With Bell ultimately coming out ahead and Felker back in second, Thomas, Jr. would have to settle for third for one lap. With Bell comfortably out front and working to pull away, Thomas, Jr. would make his move and take second from Felker on lap 21. Thomas, Jr. and Felker would try to give chase, but neither driver could mount a charge as Bell would cross the line first followed by Thomas, Jr. and Felker in third.
